Welcome! My goal is to add value to your research in East Asian stocks (Japan, Greater China, and Korea)
So why East Asia? In my view, it’s the most exciting region in the world today for investors.
Japan is experiencing a renaissance in investor interest, for very good reasons. Governance improvements, an end to deflation, Warren Buffett’s recent involvement, on top of an already-deep market that’s a stock picker’s paradise.
South Korea remains cheap. As a Western-aligned democracy with strong rule of law, there is potential to garner more global investor interest in my view, pending certain reforms. Will it become the “next Japan”?
China/HK, despite well-known risks here, sits at a generational low in valuation. One has to consider the asymmetric opportunities present today.
